What you can do?

·         Become a Volunteer or Internship Fellow

The success of any project depends upon the effective team work, enthusiastic human resource and support of joint hands desiring to achieve a preferred goal and believing in specific social change.

NSS provides the opportunity for such youngsters and adults to come together and watch your imaginations coming true successfully!

The volunteer opportunities arise across our projects and programs spread over 4 states of India viz. Rajasthan, Maharashtra, West Bengal and Delhi in the field of Health, Education, and Livelihood and also at the time of any emergency and during our events and campaigns.

You need to contribute a substantial amount of time to understand the needs and cater in the best possible way with your unique skill set.

If you desire to get involved in our diverse activities, there are various options about the time frame available for you, starting from a single day, till life time! You can choose any of them according to your suitability and comfort.

Some of the specific time frames are mentioned below:

For voluntary work, please note the following points:

·          Your CV should reach us at  hr@indianss.org   with the subject line volunteer and your area of interest like education, health, livelihood or events & campaigns.

·          Your skill set should match the desired area of interest of application.

·          While applying, please specify clearly the time you would like to dedicate, your area of interest or any other information that you would like to share.

·          For emergency roster enrollment, a letter of no objection supported with your family’s signature should be sent to us,

 For any voluntary support, NSS India covers expenses and as per the grade of work awards and appropriate remuneration.

Internship:

This is a golden chance for the student social workers to avail and follow internship with NSS and acquire a widen knowledge and challenging experiences of working at grass root level as we are catering varied needs of diverse target groups and beneficiaries.

ü   In cash:

For an effectual and result oriented implementation of any activity the basic requirement is an adequate amount of funds. NSS carries a huge capacity to carry out enormous and target beneficial activities with its thronged innovative ideas, effective work designs and strong plans of action. To carry out with these plans, we are in need of adequate endowment. You can support to any of our cause, activity or project availing finance for it. Your small support can bring a light of hope in someone’s life.

All the donations made to NSS are exempted from Income Tax under section 80G.

 

ü   In kind:

NSS has various training centers, center offices, educational centers where a record of beneficiary’s requirements is maintained. These requirements vary in ranges. After scrutinizing these requirements, we have categorized them in following manner.

First aid kits for the groups exposed to high risk of injuries, basic medicines etc.

Tailoring machines, computers, chairs, tables, cupboards, training material etc.

Livelihood

·                     Initiative for corporate:

ü   Become a CSR Partner

ü   Organize and Implement any Event with relevance to organizational aims and objectives

ü   Sponsor any of the existing project

ü   Promote and introduce new project matching to the aims and objectives of the organization
